Terms of service.

By accessing amanoki.com or api.amanoki.com, you agree to the terms below. These terms apply to the free public tier; paid tiers will carry an additional service agreement referenced at signup.

Service description

Amanoki provides computational outputs — regime labels, empirical probabilities, and forecast distributions — derived from public wholesale electricity market data and public weather data. The outputs are made available through an HTTP API.

Not advice

The outputs are computational and do not constitute trading, procurement, hedging, investment, legal, or regulatory advice. We are not a registered investment adviser in any jurisdiction. Decisions taken on the basis of the outputs are the caller's responsibility.

Use

• Call the API within the published rate limits. Abusive traffic (scraping beyond limits, DDoS attempts) may be blocked.
• Do not misrepresent the outputs as ground truth or as advice from a regulated entity.
• Do not reverse-engineer the API to construct a competing service. Independent research and academic work on the published methodology are explicitly welcomed.

Availability

The free tier is provided as-is. No uptime SLA is offered. /v1/status reflects the current operational state. Paid tier SLAs will be specified per contract when billing opens.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amanoki's total liability in connection with the service is limited to zero on the free tier, and to the amount paid to Amanoki in the trailing twelve months on paid tiers.

Changes

Terms may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes will appear in the changelog.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Exclusive jurisdiction rests with the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
